Your in-game inbox. Letters arrive from other players, the government, and your party — election announcements, land decisions, rent receipts, eviction notices, welcome checks.
Shortcut: plain /mail works exactly like /hideoutia mail — /mail list, /mail read 3, /mail send ....
Reading
/hideoutia mail list— your inbox (unread letters are marked; click a line to open it)/hideoutia mail read <id>— read a letter- You're told on join if you have unread mail
Sending
/hideoutia mail send <player> <subject> | <body>
The | splits subject from body, e.g.:
/hideoutia mail send Steve Shop order | I'll take 3 stacks of glass, paying $200
Works for offline players — they'll see it when they're next on.
Managing
/hideoutia mail archive <id>— file it away (out of your inbox, kept forever)/hideoutia mail archived— browse your archive/hideoutia mail unarchive <id>— bring it back/hideoutia mail delete <id>— gone
Who writes to you
- 🏛️ The Government — election announcements, results, your land approvals/rejections, PM broadcasts, your welcome check
- 🎗️ Your party — leadership election triggers and results, letters from your leader
- 👤 Players — anyone, about anything
Only the actual sender type shows on the letter — nobody can fake a government letter.
